R&D Global exists to service the need for innovation and efficiency in the technology-rich sectors of industry involved with the heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, energy and mining.
2015
Company Starting.
Starting with a few humble engineering consulting projects, the R&D Global team quickly expanded into supporting innovative projects including Illawarra's expansionary civil projects.
2017
Site Expansion
A distinguished year when the team outgrew the R&D Global office to move into their new 800sq facility which now houses all CNC machines and welding bays. The engineering team work from the site as well as the machinists and fabricators.
2020
Shell Cove Marina Project
A star attraction to the South Coast, the Shell Cove Marina infrastructure was supported in its design and build with R&D Global. A very proud moment for the team when the project was finalised.
2021
Spectainer - Collapsible Container Folding Machine
A centuries-old problem with shipping companies not being able to utilise their empty containers heading back to their origin. R&D Global took on solving this problem to support the design, manufacture and build of a folding container and machine to support a fully automated process of saving customers up to 60% of gross weight with sending these containers back.
